Have you checked out Walmart’s garden center lately? They actually carry a lot of items for yard and gardening. Tools, furniture, vases, swings, soil, plants, pesticides and so much more. Same name brands you would find at other places but VERY competitive prices.
I was very happy to see mulch for just $1.97 per bag. Choose between black, brown or red. It’s not often you can get a bag of mulch for under $2.00. My store did not carry the black mulch, I would call ahead to see if yours does.
“Year Long Color” For just $1.97, might just be worth it if you need a lot of mulch.

Have you heard of the IBOTTA app? I have been using this for several years now and absolutely love it! It’s a whole new – and easy – way of couponing!
Instead of clipping or printing coupons, you save them to your Ibotta app! Then, you head to your store, purchase items, and go home. That is where all the magic happens. LOL! Take a picture of your receipt and select the items you purchased. In no time at all, $$$ is in your Ibotta account and you can cash out at $20.00. I cash out using PayPal, but you can also get gift cards!
Here’s a FREEBIE that is super easy if you want to just give it a try with one item! I did this at Walmart, but check the app – it’s available at multiple stores.
Purchase the Heinz Real Mayonnaise (30 oz jar OR 19 oz squeeze bottle) for $3.48. If you ever have clipped or printed coupons, go ahead and use them at this point. Make sure you have your receipt!!!
Head home, open the Ibotta app, take a picture of your receipt, scan the barcode on the mayo and in a few minutes or less, you’ll receive notification that $3.50 has been added to your account. This is generally how it works.
Walmart is actually the easiest. Most of the time you’ll just have to scan the square barcode at the bottom of your receipt and that is it! Other stores require more pics and scanning.
This is actually a 2¢ moneymaker at Walmart! Even better if you happen to have coupons you used in the store!
