John’s Pick: Mebo 2.0 RC Robot on SALE at Target for $40.99!

While checking the aisles of our local Target, I noticed the Mebo 2.0 RC Robot on SALE, but when I checked to see the online reviews, I found an even better price online at Target.com for $40.99! (was $149.99). Our local store honored the online price and now I have a new toy to play with…LOL.

My 6 year old quickly figured out how to control our new Mebo with his tablet, and loved running around the house.

This is a great, easy to store, solution for an RV, office, or dorm. If I didn’t already have one in my office, I would buy this for sure.

John’s Pick: Thecus® N2350 2-Bay NAS on SALE at Office Depot for $69.99

Office Depot / OfficeMax has the Thecus® N2350 2-Bay NAS on SALE for $69.99 with FREE shipping ($60 OFF)!

** This NAS does not include 12 TB of storage, but is capable via two SATA drive bays.

At this price, if I didn’t already own a NAS (network attached storage), I would definitely be buying this one at Office Depot.

Although I don’t own this specific product, I do own a similar sized NAS (Network Attached Storage) and find it very useful for my home network. Connecting a NAS to your home network allows for a centralized backup/storage location, for everyone in the home to access shared files without every computer having to be powered on, and to stream media to smart devices throughout the home.

John’s Pick: Nerf Deals at Target

While doing some last minute Christmas Shopping, I ran into these deals at Target. Some were too good to pass up, and I…I mean Santa…was able to cross off some items from my son’s wishlist.

Although still Nerf, the Rival line shoots balls instead of darts and has a little more velocity for older kids.

John’s Pick: Black Friday @ Best Buy

As mentioned in my last post for Staples, I attempt to avoid the mayhem of Black Friday crowds, and have found a couple of stores that have a majority of what I’m looking for. My other post covered my Staples picks, but Best Buy is my other pick to cover several items of interest.

#1 – Computers: If you don’t camp out or don’t get to this Doorbuster in time – Dell Inspiron 15.6″ Touch-Screen Laptop with the Intel Core i5, 8GB Memory, and a 2TB Hard Drive for $359.99 (save $170), then I would recommend any of these non-doorbuster Black Friday deals:

Desktop: The HP Pavilion Desktop with AMD A12 Series processor, 8GB Memory, and 1TB Hard Drive for $349.99 (save $200). There is one bad review, but I disagree with that reviewer’s assessment.

Laptop: HP 17.3″ Laptop with Intel Core i5, 8GB Memory, and 1TB Hard Drive for $379.99 (save $150). This is a great price for an i5 processor and larger than average screen.

2 in 1 (Tablet/Laptop style): HP 14″ Touch-Screen with Intel Core i3, 8GB Memory, and 500GB Hard Drive for $399.99 (save $150).

Tablet: The Amazon Fire 7″ Tablet – 8GB 7th Generation, 2017 Release for $29.99 (save $20).

#2 – Monitors: These three are a steal, and I’m tempted to buy the 29″ 21:9 UltraWide…

LG – 29″ IPS LED FHD 21:9 UltraWide FreeSync Monitor for $179.99 (save $170)

Acer – S271HL 27″ LED FHD Monitor for $119.99 (save $100)

AOC – 21.5″ IPS LED FHD Monitor for $59.99 (save $70)

#3 – Toys:

The Redcat Racing Cyclone XB10 is a 1/10th scale remote control buggy for $79.99 (save $100). Although I listed this as a toy, it really is an entry level hobby grade vehicle that is much sturdier than the ones typically found in the toy isle.

The Parrot Bebop 2 Quadcopter with Skycontroller 2 and Cockpit FPV Glasses for $399.99 (save $100). Although the DJI Spark has been hot lately, the Parrot package includes the controller and FPV glasses, which costs extra for the DJI.

John’s Pick: Black Friday @ Staples

I attempt to avoid the mayhem of Black Friday crowds, but if I can find a couple of stores that have a majority of what I’m looking for, there’s a good chance I’ll brave the rapids…or stay up to midnight and try and get them online…lol. One of the stores that caught my attention this year, but definitely NOT the sleeping in a tent in front of the store kind of attention, is Staples.

Although there is a good chance Cyber Monday (11/27) will have the best deals on computers, there are some really good Black Friday computer deals that get my seal of approval.
