John’s Pick: Best Buy – $80 off the Insignia™ 11.6″ 2 in 1 Windows 10 Tablet with Keyboard

If you are looking for a Windows 10 Tablet, that won’t break the bank, Best Buy has the Insignia™ 11.6″ 2 in 1 Windows 10 Tablet with 32GB of memory and a Keyboard docking station for $119.99 (was $199.99).  I almost walked out of the store with this one…but I already have too many gadgets!

Best Buy Co, Inc.I hesitated to post this pick when I first saw the ad on Sunday because I thought, due to the price, the quality would be poor.  Since then, I have been able to read numerous reviews and go to my local Best Buy to see this tablet in action.

First thing to grab my attention was the screen.  It has a very sharp. responsive display, with bezels that were not too wide.

Being a “2 in 1”, this tablet comes with a keyboard docking station, which has two full size USB ports.  When docked, the tablet performs as a netbook.

Again, this is a Windows 10 Tablet, NOT android, and is a great choice if you need Windows OS compatibility.

Although this tablet is not a powerhouse by any stretch, if what you need is windows compatibility, a large easy to read screen, email and internet browsing, and light word processing, this tablet will do the job.

This is the second year we stopped by the our local Bass Pro Shops to celebrate Halloween.  Our six year old loved it!  He received a bunch of candy, and they provided a free treat bag, goodies, and professional photo.

                

Also, I posted a Plano Sportsman Trunk on sale at Dick’s Sporting Goods for $39.99 a couple of days ago.  I found the same model, but in black, at Bass Pro Shops for the same price of $39.99.

I purchased this trunk two weeks ago for a cub scout weekend camping trip, and it worked out great!  It is built solid (held me while I used it for a bench) and kept everything dry during a rainstorm.  The tie-downs and built-in wheels also came in handy when I strapped some tarps and camping chairs to the top and rolled it back to the trailer.

John’s Pick: Vistaprint wear-resistant sticker idea

I was thinking how I could affordably advertise for my wife, and I came up with this by using Vistaprint…

  In order to have a weather/wear-n-tear resistant sticker, I simply put several logos (sideways) along a custom bumper sticker on Vistaprint.  I was able to fit six logos on one bumper sticker.

I think they look pretty good on the insulated water bottles I bought on clearance at Target last week.

I couldn’t pass this one up without buying it.  I found this Target in-store Clearance – Select by Calphalon™ 10 Piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set for $79.98 (was $199.99) at our local Target.

It was such a good deal, the cashier double checked the clearance sticker to make sure it was correct.

Although Stainless Steel is much harder to clean, if you are concerned about potential effects of non-stick materials, this is a great choice.


John’s Pick: Best Buy’s weekly ad – $90 off the Acer – One 10 – 10.1″ 2-in-1 Tablet – 32GB

If your looking for a Windows 10 tablet that won’t break the bank, Best Buy has the Acer One 10 – 10.1″ 32GB Tablet on sale for $109.99 (was $199.99) in their weekly ad.  This is a 2-in-1, which means it has a detachable keyboard for use a small laptop.  Acer makes a good product, and has great customer support. I still use an older Acer netbook that hasn’t given me any problems.

John’s Pick: Walmart Clearance – Ozark Trail 30-Ounce Double-Wall, Vacuum-Sealed Tumbler

I have one of these tumblers at work, and it keeps my drinks ice cold all day!  At $5, this is a bargain.  Walmart has several color choices for the Ozark Trail 30-Ounce Double-Wall, Vacuum-Sealed Tumbler, but check the prices…only a few of the colors are on clearance.  I did notice the $5 color choices were good for first responders…Blue (Police), Red (Fire), Green (Deputy/Military)
