Birthday Freebies at First Watch! And an Awesome Gift Card Deal!

In case you missed my husband’s earlier post “John’s Picks”, yesterday was my birthday!  Thank you all for the “Happy Birthday Wishes” it was very appreciated!  🙂

It’s been a crazy, but FUN, start with this blog.  I absolutely love to find deals!  I DO NOT buy everything I post about or put my hands on in stores.  I wouldn’t be able to afford the computer I’m typing on right now.  HAHA!  I have always always always loved to window shop and just see what’s out there.

My next plan is to start posting about restaurant deals.  I figured why not start with some of the FREEBIES I’ve gotten for my birthday.  Now, I’ve been signed up for emails with most companies for years.  My first suggestion would be to start there.  If you’re not signed up at least a few weeks before your actual birthday, you may not receive the deals.

Because my birthday fell on a weekday this year, everyone still had to work and the kids still had to go to school.  🙁  However, my wonderful husband was able to get away from work to spend lunchtime with me!!!
We ended up at First Watch!  They had sent me a coupon, via email, for a FREE BREAKFAST, BRUNCH OR LUNCH MEAL!!!  Amazing!  I opted for the Chicken Salad Melt that came with a yummy side salad!

It was completely FREE!  Although we paid for John’s meal, it was NOT Bogo or half off.  Mine was FREE FREE FREE!  Of course we tipped properly!

(Sorry if it doesn’t look very appealing!  Trust me it was delicious!  I didn’t think about getting a picture until it was almost gone.  LOL)

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into Dollar General and still saw a large supply of Halloween Clearance at 70% off!

There was this 5′ Paper Jointed Decoration for 30¢.  It came in a skeleton, witch, or a pirate!

The pumpkin leaf bags were also only 30¢!

 

 

 

 

These hanging decorations were 30¢ each!

 

 

There were several dancing solar characters for only 30¢ each!

There were several kid’s pirate costumes to choose from for only $1.50 each.  That is quite an awesome deal!

They also had kid’s Star Wars and Spiderman costumed for $1.50!

Adult costumes were slim pickings but my store did have this Convict one for only $3.00!  Not too bad!

There was also still some candy marked at 50% off!

Head into CVS this week where they have Merry Brite Christmas Lights BOGO!  That’s a great deal!  Here’s a few I found in my store:

These 20 count mini lights are $1.99 each so that makes each box about 99¢.

These 70 count fashion lights are $4.99 each, after the sale they are about $2.49 each!

The 50 count mini’s are about $1.74 each.

The 100 count mini’s are about $2.49 each!

The 300 count reel is about $9.99 each!

The 200 count mini’s are about $6.49 each!

The 15 count battery operated LED lights are about $1.99 each.

The 50 count LED mini’s are about $4.99 each.

The 120 count LED reel is about $9.99 each!

Unfortunately, these are not available online so you would have to go into the store to purchase them.  I know in my area, Southwest Florida, there are CVS’s everywhere!  It’s a pretty good deal, so might be worth the trip!  There was also a larger selection than what I listed here!
